Before start, please ensure you have the following ready before the session:
- A stable internet connection for the laptop.
- The vehicle connected to the laptop with your diagnostic interface.
- A battery maintainer connected to the vehicle.
Here is the cost breakdown for Standard Module Programming – $279
- Session & License Activation Fee: US$199
- This is a one-time, non-refundable fee that covers the Remote Session Access Key and the technician's initial setup and connection time.
- Remote Service Fee: [Remaining Amount, US$80]
- This fee covers the successful completion of the work by our technician.
Our Service Guarantee & Requirements
We guarantee the success of our remote programming and diagnostic work. The Remote Service Fee is fully refundable if we are unable to complete the job due to an issue on our end.
To ensure the session is successful, we require the following from your side:
- Correct Parts: The vehicle must have the correct part numbers installed for the job you are requesting.
- Functional Hardware: All spare parts, especially used modules, must be in good working condition. A session that fails due to a defective or incorrect customer-supplied part is not eligible for a refund of the Service Fee, as our technician's time and resources will have been used.
- Stable Environment: A stable internet connection and a vehicle battery maintainer must be used for the duration of the session.

- Question: Why is the $199 non-refundable?
Answer: That's a great question. The $199 fee covers the cost of the single-use software license key that allows us to securely connect to your vehicle, plus the dedicated time for our technician to prepare for and initiate the session. We incur those costs as soon as the session begins, which is why that portion is non-refundable, similar to a diagnostic fee at a physical repair shop. - Question: I am worried about the used part being bad.
Answer: We understand completely. Used parts can be a risk, which is why we're transparent about this policy upfront. Our guarantee covers our work, but we can't guarantee customer-supplied hardware.To protect yourself, we highly recommend sourcing used parts from a reputable supplier who offers a warranty or return policy. Before our session, it's also a good idea to double-check that the part number is an exact match for what's required for your vehicle's VIN. We want this to be successful on the first try just as much as you do.
- Question: The job fails because of a bad part, and my customer wants a full refund.
Answer: We're sorry to hear the session wasn't successful due to the faulty spare parts. Our technician confirmed that all procedures on our end were performed correctly, but the module itself was not responding.As we outlined in the quote you agreed to, our service fee is for the technician's time and expertise to perform the work, and the session fee covers the license. Because our technician dedicated the full time and expertise attempting the programming, we cannot refund the full amount.However, we want to help you get this resolved. Once you have sourced a new, working part, we would be happy to schedule a second attempt for you at a reduced cost. We will waive the service fee for the next session, so you would only need to pay for the 2nd time Session (if it's invalid within 72hours) & License Activation Fee for the new attempt.”
