Your Order

When you place an order, the system automatically creates an account for you. To learn more about your order, please log in to your account in the top right corner of the website. Navigate to the Orders tab to view information such as the Order ID, Payment Status, Shipping Status, and so on.

If you are unable to access your account, it is because you have not confirmed your email address. When you place an order or simply register on our website, you will receive a confirmation email after typing in your email address twice. It includes a link to confirm your email address as well as an automatically generated password that you can use to sign in. If you can't find this email in your inbox, look in your spam folder. If it isn't there, go to the Log in tab in the top right corner, enter your email address, and press Enter. A message will appear with a link to resend this email.  After you click it, you must enter your email address again. Following this procedure, the confirmation email should arrive in your inbox, allowing you to confirm your email address.

Navigate to the Orders tab after logging into your personal account in the top right corner of the website. All of your orders' order numbers (Order IDs) will be displayed. All the order details will be sent to your e-mail instantly.

If you need to change the shipping address after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number for more information. Please keep in mind that we can only ship to the order registered shipping addresses.

Shipping

It normally takes 24-48 hours to test and ship your order. Before shipping, all of our orders undergo rigorous testing to ensure that your items are properly prepared, defect-free and can withstand the long hours of transportation, sometimes across the ocean. We ship with DHL/TNT Express (tracking number is provided to you after we ship), and transit times depend on your location. Please also see Shipping Information for more information.

We will ship your order with DHL or TNT Express. We will provide you with a tracking number within 24hrs after shipping your order.

It is likely. All of our products are shipped based on FOB China terms. Please check with your country’s border services/customs authorities to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. The shipping company chosen by us (normally DHL / TNT or Fedex) will notify you if there are import customs required when the shipment arrived in your country.

This could happen in one of two situations:

  1. when you ordered many things, some of which shipped from various places;
  2. when you ordered multiple products, some of which are currently out of stock. Shipped will be the new status once everything has been dispatched.

Our standard delivery time ranges from 2 to 7 business days. It may take longer if the retrofit you ordered is out of stock. If this occurs, you will be notified, and the Shipping & Order Status in your personal account will be updated accordingly.

When you order software virtual product/support like USB coding, ISTA system register, FSC code, map code options for your car, you will receive an email with download link and instructions. There is no physical delivery.

Payments

We accept below payment methods:

  • Direct company bank transfer to HSBC Hong Kong;
  • Alipay and WeChat pay secure
  • Credit card payments (VISA or MasterCard only).
  • in certain cases we also accept Western Union payment and USDT.

You certainly can. If you don't have a PayPal account or prefer to pay with a credit or debit card,  go and select “Pay with Debit or VISA Master Credit Card.”

PayPal is not allow us to sell virtual stuff and technical support. If PayPal is unavailable or blocked in your country, you can pay for your order via wire transfer or western union. If this is the case, please contact us who will walk you through the process step by step.

You can check the Payment Status column by logging into your account and going to the Orders tab. Online credit card payment status are instantly updated. When we receive the payment, we will change the status to Paid or Processing.

Software Demo Licenses

  • Once a demo license is activated and bound to a specific VIN, it cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • If you accidentally ordered the wrong license type (e.g., DOIP Demo License for a vehicle using CAN bus), and the software cannot be used, we will gladly offer you a discounted upgrade or exchange option for the correct version.
  • Please note: Refunds are not available in these cases.

IMPORTANT: If you're unsure about the correct license for your vehicle, please contact our team with your VIN number prior to purchase — we’re happy to assist and help you choose the right product.

Official Software Licenses

  • Official software licenses are non-refundable once issued.
  • If your laptop is reformatted, reinstalled, or damaged, and your license is still within the valid period, we will support a license switch request to your new system — at no extra charge.

Spare Parts

  • For brand-new spare parts, we do not support returns or exchanges once shipped.
  • For used parts, returns and exchanges are not supported unless there is verified functional failure. All parts are tested on our bench systems prior to shipping to ensure quality.

If you believe a part is defective, we kindly ask that you provide photo/video proof of non-function so our technicians can review the case and offer a solution.

If you believe you have received a defective product, please contact our customer service team. They will assist you in troubleshooting common issues and may be able to assist you in getting your product to work. If your product continues to malfunction, our team will assist you in determining which component(s) in your upgrade kit are defective and will issue a return authorisation to replace the affected component (s).

Some of our services, such as fsc code, system registration, bmw coding and activation, are prepared and performed specifically for your vehicle. These are non-refundable services. If you want to return a new and unused product for a refund within 14 days of receiving it, please contact our support team and provide your order number. Please keep in mind that you will be charged a restocking fee as well as for any missing or damaged components.

Many of our products come with 2-3 years' extended warranty that can be purchased separately.
Most of our kits come with a 12-month basic warranty     ( or a 90-day warranty for refurbished products) that covers manufacturing flaws. All warranty periods begin on the date of purchase and cannot be changed after the fact. Please keep in mind that our warranties do not cover damage caused by the customer during or after installation unless caused by a faulty kit, nor do they cover the costs of reinstalling a new replacement kit.

If subsequent changes are made to your SX-TOOL software, features activated through coding may stop working or work differently. The most common reason is that your dealer requires new software to be installed in your vehicle. In this case, the features made available through coding can be reactivated by USB or remote support via teamviewer.com session. For a small fee, features coded by our technician can be reactivated. For more information, please contact us. We are unable to provide refunds for software, features activation, OEM retrofit features that were deactivated due to subsequent software upgraded or system hardware changes.

SX-TOOL Warranty & Installation Support Policy

Yes, we do offer warranty coverage on all SX-TOOL software, licenses, spare parts, and remote technical support services.

Our warranty ensures that any software or hardware product provided by us will function as intended under normal usage. In the event of a technical issue with your software, we provide comprehensive remote support to verify activation, functionality, and performance. If any defects are found in the product itself, we will resolve it in accordance with our warranty coverage.

However, please note that while we strive to assist where possible, SX-TOOL does not assume responsibility for on-site installation of spare parts, system wiring, or vehicle-specific electrical integration. These procedures should be performed by qualified technicians in your local market, especially when dealing with vehicle electrical systems.

We recommend all customers confirm compatibility and installation requirements in advance. For your convenience, you’re always welcome to share your VIN number or system setup so our technical team can guide you before purchase or installation begins.

General Information

OEM FSC code activation is the activation method which is used by BMW at the factory level. Hardware activation is an aftermarket activation method which uses our own plug and play activation module. The main difference between these activation methods is PRICE (FSC activation method is ~70% more expensive than the PNP activation method). For MY2018 or newer models, OEM FSC activation are always recommended. You can send us your VIN with a free verification from our team.

Our CIC/NBT/EVO kits are comprised of used BMW OEM CIC/NBT/EVO head units, iDrive controllers and CID monitors, but we inspect each item individually to ensure that every item that you get is in very good cosmetic condition, without significant visible scratches, dents or defects, however their may be some minor signs of wear, since equipment is used. We test and inspect each item in our laboratory to ensure that every item that you get is in proper working condition, without any defects. All other parts in our CIC/NBT/EVO kits (cables, wires, connectors, plastics, etc.) are new.

For BMW apps, Web Radio, Facebook and other cool features, you need have a Connected Drive (6NR option). We offer this option together with 6NF (video from iPhone) or without it. Connected Drive is an extension of EVO MGU ID7, and cannot be installed on it’s own. Software update may be required, depending on production date of your vehicle.

Each SX-TOOL license is tied to a single PC for security and stability. We will support the license transfers or use on one-specific machine if you’re using official master license (Demo license can’t be transferred). This policy ensures the integrity of the software and allows our team to provide effective support for a known, stable installation. In-case your laptop was damaged or reinstalled, or replaced to use new laptop, you can contact us to apply license switch.

SX-TOOL is a DoIP protocol engineering tool designed to be faster and more powerful than the official system for specific tasks like CCF editing, retrofits, and module programming. It can handle the vast majority of your diagnostic and programming needs. However, for full compliance and to access protected vehicle service campaigns, we recommend our professional partners maintain their active JLR subscription alongside SX-TOOL.

SX-CAN is CAN BUS based JLR Engineering tool designed to be faster and more powerful than the official system for specific tasks like CCF editing, retrofits, and module programming. It can handle the vast majority of your diagnostic and programming needs.

In a word, we can say with our SX-TOOL solution, 95% of the JLR SDD Pathfinder jobs can be done in engineering way to be faster and more efficient. 

During programming, modules draw a consistent, high current. A standard “trickle charger” cannot keep up, and a voltage drop mid-flash can permanently damage the module (“brick” it). You must use a dedicated, stable power supply unit (PSU) capable of delivering at least 50A-100A at a constant 13.5V. This is the single most important safety step for any programming job. Our team will verify this before proceeding.

To ensure a successful session, please prepare the following:

  1. Connect: Link your vehicle to a Windows laptop using your JLR Enet Cable / DOIP VCI. A stable internet connection is essential.
  2. Install: Download and install the full version of the TeamViewer remote support on your laptop.
  3. Run: Launch the SX-TOOL software, authenticated with your license or a pre-arranged demo token. or schedule the remote support with the “Paid Remote Support” 
  4. Once ready, you will provide the unique TeamViewer ID and password to our technician. This allows them to establish a secure, one-time connection to perform the necessary engineering tasks on your vehicle.
