Electrically deployable side steps make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle and access the roof. Neatly folded under the vehicle, they automatically unfold after opening the door or after activation with a key fob. They fold automatically after closing the door. You can cancel the automatic mode to access the roof when the door is closed.
